I founded LouisValentine.org to give people peace of mind when buying expensive keepsakes. How does one know if a brand will hold value? If the craftsmanship is really credible? When buying jewelry or watches there is little guidance on how one brand or style compares to another. I found my friends and family buying things simply because the item was on sale, or maybe the style seemed fashionable. But six months later they were disappointed with their selection, finding another style or brand might have been a better choice overall.
